Princes Highway blocked at Stonyford

THE Princes Highway west of the Cobden-Stonyford Road is expected to be closed at least until 2pm on Friday following a truck rollover.

A police spokeswoman said the accident happened when the unloaded truck was travelling east.

The spokeswoman said the driver lost control and swerved to the incorrect side of the road.

The spokeswoman said the truck rolled over a guard rail on the side of the highway and came to rest on the driver's side door.

A heavy haulage vehicle is to be used to retrieve the semi-trailer and VicRoads is managing traffic around the accident site.
