A civic reception launched the third annual festival last night with revellers dancing the night away at the Deer Stalkers ball.
The festival, which celebrates all things Scottish, continues today and tomorrow with performances from pipers and other musicians, markets, children’s activities, whisky tastings, kilt dash, art exhibitions, lectures and presentations in various locations around the town.
