City traders continue to oppose a proposed marketing levy, now distributing posters to show unity.

Parents at Warrnambool Primary School are being asked to vote on a radical proposal to shorten school finish time by 10 minutes because of a bus network timetable adjustment.

In world news, some of Australia's top clothing labels are employing migrant workers for up to 15 hours a day in sweatshops while paying them as little as $5 an hour, according to court documents lodged by the textile union.

In local sport, Warrnambool Seahawks veteran Tim Gainey has been named the Big V division one men’s player of the month.
