Police said a group of partygoers smashed letterboxes, ripped windscreen wipers off cars and stole garden lights after leaving a party.
A fire hydrant was also used to smash a caravan window.
Acting Sergeant Rhiannon Everall said the trail of vandalism stretched from Garden Street to Balmoral Road between 1am and 3am.
“We’re still getting more reports coming in,” she said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
Meanwhile, firefighters have praised the actions of two people who helped a man whose car burst into flames yesterday.
Crews were called to Lindsay, west of Casterton, at 5.30pm when smoke and flames engulfed the bonnet of a Commodore utility.
Warrnambool CFA senior station officer David Ferguson said two members of the public were quick to use their own fire extinguiser to tackle the car blaze.
It took two CFA crews to bring the flames under control.
