An anti-fracking community meeting will take place at the Dartmoor Memorial Hall at 7.30pm tonight.

DARTMOOR is the latest town to hold meetings against fracking in the south-west.

It follows meetings in Warrnambool, Portland, Crossley and Digby. Dartmoor resident Michael Greenham said the meeting would raise concerns about mining for unconventional gas and that there were multiple exploration permits throughout the region.

The evening has been organised alongside the Lock the Gate group. It will be held at the Dartmoor Memorial Hall at 7.30pm tonight.
