Winds northerly 20 to 30 km/h turning northwesterly 30 to 45 km/h in the late morning then decreasing to 20 to 30 km/h in the evening. Daytime maximum temperatures in the low 20s.

Morning news

It's been a spectacular May in Warrnambool with blue and sunny skies but temperature records are yet to be set, unlike other parts of Victoria.

The major news overnight was a shed fire at Illowa, caused by exploding gas cylinders. Watch the video:
