The Geelong defender is among 40 VFL footballers in contention to play at North Port Oval on May 31.
He is the sole Cats player in the squad. Former Box Hill premiership coach Damian Carroll has the reins of the representative side.
Carroll said selectors had a “tough ask” to reduce the squad to 40 players after six rounds of the VFL season.
He said the SANFL had been “the measuring stick” of state league football in recent years and “certainly deserve the number one ranking in Australia”.
