At the May races on Thursday it turned heads again, especially when 30 children clambered all over the distinctive vehicle to pose for a photo.
“The kids had great fun trying to cram themselves in there,” Mr O’Brien said.
For the last 30 years his family and friends had set up in the car park for the final day of the annual carnival. Mr O’Brien said his parents started the tradition, which had continued on each year since.
“It’s a great day for the kids to get together and run wild,” he said.
“I think there would have been about 30 kids there.
“It’s a mixture of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
“It’s our annual thing. We set up a barbecue, get together and have a good time.
“It’s a way to make the most of the day off.”
