Public transport
• Veterans and War Widows can travel for free on Victoria’s public transport network on Anzac Day to attend commemoration activities. Free
• Travel is also extended to Australian Defence Force members, Scouts and Guides and school students on ANZAC Day, April 25.
• Trams and buses that run along or over Swanston Street and St Kilda Road will be disrupted between the end of the Dawn Service and 2pm.
• Extra metropolitan and regional trains will run for the annual Anzac Day football match between Collingwood and Essendon at the MCG.
• Extra trains will run between Flinders Street Station and Flemington Racecourse for Anzac Day Race Day, additional trains will stop at Southern Cross and North
Melbourne stations.
• Extra trains will run from Richmond Station for the Melbourne Storm versus Warriors NRL match at AAMI Park on April 25. Extra trams will run between the city and AAMI Park. For more information: ptv.vic.gov.au
Metropolitan trains and trams: All services will run to a Saturday timetable. Extra pre-dawn trains to Flinders Street for the dawn service. Extra trains for Anzac Day Races and MCG game. V/Line: Saturday timetable with some coach time alterations. Train replacements on the Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Gippsland and Seymour lines.

• Dawn service Shrine of Remembrance. 6am: one minute of silence.
• Veterans march along Flinders and Swanston streets, 9am. Wreaths will be laid at the Shrine at approximately 12.45pm.
• Commemorative Service: 1pm, to take place at the Shrine to include an address from the Governor of Victoria, Alex Chernov.
• Ray of Light Ceremony: running every half hour aft er the completion of the commemorative service at the Shrine of Remembrance.

• AFL Essendon v Collingwood live on the big screen at Federation Square from 2.30pm. $2.50 Anzac biscuits, all proceeds donated to the Anzac appeal.
• Geelong RSL sub branch march and commemorative service: The march starts at 11am on the corner of Malop Street and Yarra Street to proceed along Malop Street to Johnstone Park.
