Agent David Falk said he was unable to explain the lack of interest in the coastal real estate.
“It’s so erratic. We have some units down at Lorne and they’ve been going very, very well. January was very quiet, but February picked up.”
Mr Falk said only 18 people turned up for Easter Saturday’s auction held at the Port Campbell surf club.
A double-storey townhouse at 3/29 Pitcher Street was passed in on a vendor’s bid of $380,000.
The six-bedroom building carried a reserve of $410,000.
A 1000-square-metre vacant block at 8 Pitcher Street opened on a vendor’s bid of $165,000 with no further interest. A reserve had been set at $180,000.
The third lot, a 2000-square-metre block of land at 23 Great Ocean Road, was withdrawn from sale and offers are now being sought around the $320,000 to $330,000 price mark.
Two four-hectare blocks with river views in Peterborough, also due to go to sale, were withdrawn prior to auction.
