Macarthur police Senior Constable David Rook said a driver had reversed a car on to the concrete apron of the Bessiebelle hall, spun its wheels and sprayed gravel on the hall wall, leaving rubber tyre marks on the concrete.
“We’re looking for the person responsible for this idiotic act of damage but we need public assistance,” Senior Constable Rook said. “It appears that the offender has also been doing wheelies in the vicinity of the hall and police are seeking any information, which will be treated as confidential.
“This type of hoon driving and wanton damage is becoming all too frequent and police cannot investigate these matters without assistance from members of the public.”
