The enterprise has been renamed Camperdown Dairy, a move that chief executive Peter Skene said was prompted by expansion beyond its original single purpose of supplying bottled fresh milk to the Aussie Farmers Direct network.
While that remains the core of its operation, the business last year invested $1.2 million is a joint venture with Organic Dairy Farmers of Australia to produce organic butter, as well its own brand of butter.
"We have some significant new product launches on the go. We will be announcing those in two to four weeks," Mr Skene said.
The business, based in the former Bonlac factory at Camperdown, now has a full export licence and is planning production for export.
The company has expanded into another part of the site to give it extra manufacturing space.
"We're only use about 25 per cent of the site so there is plenty of room for growth."
Mr Skene said the new name also linked the company with Camperdown which has a long history in dairy processing.
"This is the culmination of a lot of planning and investment in the business," Mr Skene said.
Product packing will move to the new branding in the next few weeks.
