Sure to delight children on school holidays, Babe will be shown at the Reardon Theatre this Monday from 10am, raising money for the Australian Breastfeeding Association’s local branch.
The 1995 comedy-drama was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay, winning the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
Monday’s screening will be $8, with babes in arms free and snacks available to purchase.
Local Australian Breastfeeding Association members are parents from across the Moyne Shire and Warrnambool City areas, either trained or training to serve as councillors assisting people with breastfeeding issues.
