Ludeman Real Estate agent Mark Dwyer said the auction of a four-bedroom house at 205 Russell Street, Dennington, at 11am Saturday attracted about 30 people.
The 1006-metre-squared property was passed in on a vendor’s bid of $220,000.
“We are very confident of a sale. An offer has been made and negotiations are continuing,” he said.
James H Monk agent Davina Pickles is in a similar position with a property at 51 Scotts Street, Camperdown.
The Queen Anne Federation style house was passed in on a vendor’s bid of $250,000, but an offer was made after Saturday’s auction and talks are continuing.
A three-bedroom house at 4/144 High Street, Terang, was also passed in on a vendor’s bid of $230,000 and is on the market for $245,000.
