While most of the donation was raised at the club’s ladies president charity bowls day this week, $495 came from the club’s Wrong Bias club.
Bowlers who send their bowls down the greens on the wrong bias — sending them in the wrong direction — pay a self-imposed fine that the club has donated to Peter’s Project.
Project director Vicki Jellie told bowlers at the charity day the money would help edge donations closer to the project’s $5 million target.
Ms Jellie said $4.6 million had been raised so far through great teamwork by the south-west community.
