Sergeant Rex Habel said officers were yesterday called to an address in Strachan Street about 4pm after receiving a complaint that a man had produced a shotgun and threatened his housemate.
Police attended at the address and arrested the man without incident.
A shotgun was found hidden in the house as well as a compound bow, arrows and an imitation firearm.
The man was arrested, taken to the Hamilton police station, where he was interviewed and charged with a range of weapon offences.
The man is expected to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court today.
