Blake, who will compete at the Australian age championships alongside south-west pair Isaac Jones and Fraser Harrison, snared Warrnambool’s only gold medal at the two-day meeting in the 14 boys’ 50-metre freestyle.
He also added two silver medals to his burgeoning collection in the 14 boys’ 50m butterfly and breaststroke events to cap a productive weekend.
Tayte Lang (14 girls’ 50 backstroke) and Emily Bartlett (12 girls’ 50m butterfly) earned silver medals and teammate Holly Windahl collected bronze for her 13 girls’ 50m backstroke swim.
Warrnambool sent 56 swimmers to the weekend competition at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Each swimmer qualified for the all-junior finals after finishing in the top 15 at the Barwon South West association trials.
