GALLERY: Clean green machine sparkles at Koroit swap meet

MOTORING enthusiasts got their fix at Koroit yesterday when more than 100 show vehicles were lined up at Victoria Park and about 50 stallholders plied their wares at the annual swap meet.

More than 80 motorcyclists also added their machines to the display for a while when they dropped in during the Black Dog Ride 1-Dayer.

Hundreds of spectators enjoyed the event which raised funds for Koroit Lions Club community donations.

“It was better than last year and certainly proves swap meets are still popular,” club organiser Bruce Brown said.

“Stallholders did a good business. There were car parts,  model cars, old motorcycles, cars, plants and even a coolroom on a trailer for sale.

“It gives us some money for community work and we will now prepare for our annual art show on the June long weekend.”
