The draw for Saturday’s pre-season competition was released yesterday, with teams split into two divisions.
Port Fairy is due to take on reigning premier North Warrnambool first up in division two.
O’Keeffe said it would be a vastly different Seagulls side on the court compared to last year.
“I think we only have four players who played in the side last year,” she said.
“We’ve found it really difficult to train together. The girls have had uni commitments Monday to Friday and have only been coming back on weekends, so it’s made it hard.
“But we are looking forward to it. It’s always interesting and a really good way to get a look at the rest of the competition.”
O’Keeffe said she remained in doubt of her on-court role this season.
“I need to have surgery on my knee and I’m getting married,” she said.
“So depending on how it all fits in I may be able to play from mid-season, or I may not.”
The action gets under way from 10am tomorrow at the Gardens Oval in Port Fairy.
