Jessica Hall, 23, of Wilson Street, pleaded guilty in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court to driving while suspended. She was convicted and fined $500 with $73 costs.
Hall also has to pay off more than $4000 in fines during the next year or be imprisoned for 39 days.
Magistrate Peter Mellas warned Hall that if she continued to drive while suspended it would not be a matter of how big the next fine would be, but how long she would be going to prison.
Hall failed to reduce her fines by completing more than 50 hours of community work and now has to pay them or go to jail.
Police said Hall was caught on June 8 last year driving in Merri Street to pick up her mother from a pub.
