Mr Bell said it was a great show with 16 cars destroyed during the three-hour performance.
“All in all it was a good day, a good night,” he said.
“The fans were all happy, screaming and waving. There was a good crowd, between 3500 and 4000 people. We started just after 6pm and went through until 9pm.”
Mr Bell said the interval was slightly longer than planned after the engine on one truck blew and he broke the suspension on another.
“We planned on having five trucks, but we actually had six until we blew the engine,” he said.
“We crushed plenty of cars and got plenty of air. One of the freestyle motocross riders was hurt in practice during the afternoon. He broke a leg but he’s OK. It’s all part of doing the crazy stuff we do.”
The organiser said the cars were sourced from Rentsch’s Auto Salvage and Metal Recyclers.
“We had a lot of support from Warrnambool businesses. We got a good warm fuzzy feeling from being in Warrnambool and I’m looking forward to coming back in the near future. It won’t be six years between our next show here,” Mr Bell said.
“We also burnt a car, which is always a big hit and put on a cool fireworks display. It was a bit windy but the fans got what they came to see,” he said.
