Elders Real Estate manager Shane McIntyre yesterday issued a written statement on behalf of owners Tim and Jen Clarke, denying reports that Minjah is under a heads of agreement contract with the RIFA group, as reported in The Standard last Saturday.
“Minjah has been publicly listed for sale by expression of interest which expired last December,” the statement said.
“Negotiations stemming from that process continue. At this time no sale has been concluded but negotiations continue with registered interested parties.”
The Standard has reported the rumoured sale twice, the first time stating that the report could not be confirmed, the second time quoting a report from The Australian.
Numerous attempts to contact Mr Clarke by phone over several weeks have been unsuccessful and Elders agents have repeatedly stated that details of the sale are confidential.
