Former Warrnambool fashion designer Lisa Gorman will once again bring her signature style of bright colours and patterns to Liebig Street.

Ms Gorman said shoppers could expect a bargain with a collection of ex-summer stock and some samples on offer.

“There’ll be a lot of prints and lots of colour,” she said.

“It’s classic Gorman.”

She said in the past people in Warrnambool had been very supportive of the sale and her brand.

“Of course I have a passion for my home town,” she said.

“I’m very fond of my Warrnambool. A lot of people in Warrnambool keep an eye on the label. Prior to online shopping it was a way for people to get their hands on the products without travelling too far.”

Ms Gorman said it was about the 10th year the sale had been brought to her home town and the fourth year she had raised funds.

This year $20,000 of proceeds will be distributed between Peter’s Project, the Leukaemia Foundation and the Peter Mac Cancer Centre.

Ms Gorman said she had known many people who had travelled for treatment from Warrnambool and Peter’s Project was an excellent initiative by the community.

“The last thing you really want to do is get in a car or on a train and travel when you’re sick,” she said.

The sale will run from this Friday to Monday, March 10 at 125 Liebig Street.
