Todd Cooper Templeton, 20, of Sobeys Road, appeared in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court yesterday for a committal hearing mention. A two-day committal hearing will be held in the same court starting May 22.
Mr Templeton denies being the driver of the car involved in an accident along Mount Baimbridge Road on December 12, 2012.
His friend Alexander Trotter was killed in the accident when both men were thrown from the vehicle.
The prosecution will allege Mr Templeton was driving with a blood-alcohol content of .166 at a speed of about 200km/h and that Mr Trotter’s blood was found on the passenger’s seat.
