Police executed a search warrant at 9.30am and found and unregistered .22 rifle, two semi mature cannabis plants, a small amount of green vegetable matter believed to be cannabis and various ammunitions.
Senior Constable Martin Howells, from the Warrnambool division response unit, said enquiries were also being made into a shot gun found at the house.
The men, aged 32 and 47, were charged with firearms and drug offences and were bailed to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court at a later date.
Senior Constable Howells said the search was the result of information from the public and he urged anyone with any information on illegal drugs and firearms to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man has been charged with cultivating cannabis after police searched a home in Skipton on Sunday.
