The 16-year-old was named in the 24-rider roster for the Cycling Australia junior track nationals later this month.
The Warrnambool College student will ride in the junior women’s 17-18 years’ pursuit and teams’ pursuit at the three-day championships in Sydney from February 26.
It will be the third time Hocking has competed at the junior track nationals.

Hocking is also an accomplished road cyclist, competing for the Victorian team at the 2012 junior national road championships in Canberra and claiming various other road titles.
Last year she rode in her first international tour in The Netherlands, wearing the leader’s jersey for five of the nine stages of the tour and finishing fifth overall.
