The masked bandits stolen wallets and phones before fleeing on foot.
THREE armed intruders who robbed and assaulted a man inside his home in Adelaide's northern suburbs are being sought by police.
The men entered the house in Elizabeth Vale through an unlocked door around 4am on Sunday.
Wearing masks and armed with a baseball bat and a sword, they confronted the two occupants - a man in his 70s and a woman in her 20s.
The man was assaulted and required hospital treatment for minor injuries.
The woman, although threatened, was not physically injured.
Personal items including wallets and a mobile phone were stolen before the men escaped.
"Elizabeth CIB detectives are investigating and police do not believe this to have been a random incident," police said.
"We would ask anyone with information to get in touch with police."
