A CAMPERDOWN man who repeatedly sent a woman abusive and threatening text messages during April this year has been fined $3000.
Christopher David Kane, 35, of Errey Street, pleaded guilty in Warrnambool Magistrates Court to 26 counts of breaching an intervention order.
Kane was convicted and fined $3000 with $69.70 costs and sentenced to six months’ imprisonment, which was suspended for two years.
The woman took out a court-backed intervention order in August last year, but Kane embarked on a campaign of text messages which led to police intervention.
