Hugh made 100 not out in their 62-run win against Outer East Eagles, batting at first drop.
He was instrumental as the Waves made 6-218 off their 50 overs.
Liam Brown contributed 51 and shared in a 115-run third-wicket stand with Hugh.
The Eagles were dismissed for 156 in reply, with Woodford’s Tyler Fowler snaring three wickets.
Meanwhile Western Waves notched a four-wicket win against Outer East Eagles in the under 14 boys’ competition.
The Eagles batted first and were restricted to 9-108. Brody Couch (2-12) and Lachlan Field (2-13) were the pick of the Waves’ bowlers. Openers Wil Fleming (36) and Daniel Kerber (28 runs) had the Waves in a comfortable position in reply at 2-70 before they rattled together the remaining runs for victory.
