Organisers of the Vintage Engine Rally to be held at the town’s sports ground on Friday and Saturday say the show will be bigger and better than last year.
Event spokesman Gerry Rowbottom said last year’s event attracted more than 150 static engines and about 80 tractors.
“We are expecting more this year,” Mr Rowbottom said. “People have been out at the ground over the weekend staking out their preferred spot.
“We’ve got people from Melbourne, South Australia and even Queensland coming down to exhibit and some just to have a look.”
Mr Rowbottom said other attractions included blade shearing demonstrations, antique tractors trucks and cars.
He said camping was available on both nights, with live music on Friday night and all day Saturday. Catering would also be available.
“Everyone is more than welcome,” Mr Rowbottom said. “Entry is only $5 for a single or $10 for a family.”
