CFA were called to the fire at 3.15am on Saturday at Ramaker Auto Wreckers at Saunders Street, East Colac.
The fire completely engulfed and destroyed the building.
A Victoria Police arson chemist attended the scene on Saturday and Colac police are waiting to hear the results.
