Now in its second year, the family friendly event is expected to be even better, with more live music, market stalls, local produce, amusements and rides, animal nursery, reptile show and various children’s events.
Event co-ordinator Christine Norton has also promised more food this year.
“We had expected hundreds to attend last year and this is what we catered for,” Ms Norton said.
“They told us it was actually between 2000 and 2500 so this year we’ll be ready.”
The event will start at midday, with live music from a wide range of local bands commencing at 1pm.
At 10pm a fireworks display will light up the sky and close the day’s entertainment.
Ms Norton’s only request is for all to bring their picnic rugs — and a smile.
