Utility, tools go in Bushfield theft

POLICE are searching for a ute and tools stolen from a Bushfield property overnight on Thursday. 

Sergeant Chris Moloney, from Warrnambool police, said a 1992 white Ford Maverick utility was stolen from Barries Road some time between 10pm Thursday and 6.30am yesterday. 

“It’s a white utility with an aluminium bullbar and winch on the front. There were also tools on the back,” he said. 

Sergeant Moloney urged anyone with information to contact Warrnambool police or Crime Stoppers. 

Police also attended a two-car collision on the Princes Highway at Port Fairy on Thursday night. Senior Constable Greg Creek, from Port Fairy police, said a Ford station wagon and a Ford sedan collided just west for Sandspit Road, just before 6
