POLICE are searching for a ute and tools stolen from a Bushfield property overnight.

Sergeant Chris Moloney of Warrnambool police said a 1992 White Ford Maverick utility was stolen from Barries Road sometime between 10pm Thursday and 6.30am this morning.

"It's a white utility with an aluminium bull bar and winch on the front. There were also tools on the back," he said.

Sergeant Moloney urged anyone with information to contact the Warrnambool Police Station or Crimestoppers.

Police also attended a two-car collision on the Princes Highway at Port Fairy last night.

Senior Constable Greg Creek of Port Fairy police said a white Ford station wagon and a gold Ford sedan collided just west of Sandspit Road, just before 6pm.

He said seven occupants were involved, with four taken to hospital with minor injuries.
