Warrnambool East Rotarians clean up the mad mile

WARRNAMBOOL East Rotarians diced with traffic when they cleaned up roadside rubbish along the “mad mile” on the Princes Highway from Dennington to Illowa.

Planks of timber, steel, wire and plastic bottles were among the numerous items collected by 12 club members.

Project co-ordinator Maggie Dwyer said the clean-up had the western entrance of the highway looking pristine for the holiday season.
