In a true reflection of the season, the church last week served up its Christmas fare to a big crowd of about 120 people — more than double the usual number of diners — at its regular Wednesday community lunch.
Reverend Geoff Barker said the regular community lunch was part of the church’s aim to be inclusive.
“We try and create a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere,” Reverend Barker said.
“People can make friends and be supportive of each other.”
