South-west shoppers show their support for cancer charity

HUNDREDS of  south-west shoppers are contributing to the national charity Redkite to support children, teenagers and young adults and  families affected by cancer.

The charity’s $2 cards being sold through Coles supermarkets have been popular with south-west residents, according  to Redkite corporate sponsorship executive Linda Smith during a visit to Warrnambool this month.

“Purchasers personalise the card with a face and name and add it to an in-store wall,”  she said.

“We are grateful for the partnership with Coles and the support from  shoppers.”

Redkite provides financial, emotional and educational assistance.
