AN expanded Hampden Football Netball League might not be on the cards for next year if neighbouring Western Border league has its way.
Western Border Football League chief executive officer David Heard has revealed the WBFL will ask for any change to its competition to be delayed until 2014.
The league is yet to finalise its submission to the Southern Border Review, which made a series of draft recommendations about the make up of the Western Border and Hampden leagues for next year, but it will be calling for another year in its current form.
