Bec & The Big River Trio were among six contestants last night in the ABC’s Exhumed reality contest.
Despite giving it their best shot, they were trumped by Kalgoorlie reggae outfit Jahsifik.
Bec & The Big River Trio’s fame on the national stage is a far cry from the milking shed and classrooms that singer Bec Baird, a dairy farmer, and teachers Phil Jones (guitarist), Raff Marino (drummer) and Dan Rondeau (bassist) are used to.
Bec & The Big River Trio emerged from more than 1400 entries after taking out the south-west final at The Loft in Warrnambool in August.
