Warrnambool director Jess Densley said two of the properties sold for well above the reserve price, showing confidence had returned to the Warrnambool real estate market.
Among the properties sold was a large, stately four-bedroom brick home at 41 Wentworth Street, Warrnambool, a sought-after location near St John of God hospital. It sold for $630,000 after a spirited contest by two bidders pushed the price up from $540,000.
A nearby property at 33 Wentworth Street, a four-bedroom brick veneer home, sold for $485,000. Also sold was a three-bedroom brick veneer home at Bolivar Street, Terang, that went for $345,000.
A five-bedroom brick veneer property at 5 Windsor Court, Warrnambool, a four-bedroom brick home at 57 Wangoom Road, Warrnambool, and a block of land at 7 Matthews Court, Warrnambool, were passed in.
