Community members were encouraged to design scarecrows and dub them with an occupation.
Trail maps located at the market will highlight the path through Woodford for people to guess each scarecrow’s occupation and go into the draw for first prize.
More than 40 boutique market stalls will also feature at the event, which carries a vintage country Christmas theme.
Organiser Tania Ferris said the school was excited to show off a wide variety of quality Christmas items, with the market already receiving great feedback.
“There’s so much talent in the south-west, whether they’re designers or artists,” Ms Ferris said.
“It’s so lovely to be able to showcase just pure talent and offer that for Christmas gifts.”
Woodford Playgroup will participate with car boot sales and there will also be a garage sale trail through the township. The market runs from 8am to 1pm.
