MERCY Regional College will celebrate its 40th anniversary next month with a reunion dinner, open days and an arts display.
The celebrations by the Catholic co-educational secondary college’s will take place on the weekend of November 16-17 and include both the college’s Noorat and Camperdown campuses.
College principal Darren Egberts said the college had many campuses during its history, including schools at Terang and Mortlake.
Some staff would teach at Camperdown in the morning, at Noorat during the middle of the day and at Mortlake in the afternoon. The college follows the educational traditions of the Sisters of Mercy.
It was originally known as the Catholic Regional College and changed its name to Mercy Regional College in 2000.
