In the past decade it’s become something of a fixture on Warrnambool’s event calendar — and certainly one of the cutest.
On Sunday the Baby and Child Bonanza returns, raising money for the Australian Breastfeeding Association Warrnambool Group.
Organiser Barb Glare said children would be treated to a visit from TV characters George and Peppa Pig, while parents could browse for a bargain among the new and used children’s clothes, toys, books, games and furniture.
“Everything is in such great condition,” she said.
“Some people buy another pram just to have at grandma’s house. It’s been going for more than 10 years. It’s now a fixture on the Warrnambool calendar.
People ask me if we could have two a year.”
Ms Glare said there would be a sausage sizzle, face painting for children and local photographer Peta Jolley would also have a mini studio for family portraits.
The event will be held at St Pius Church Hall on Morriss Road from 11am to 2pm.
