THE North Warrnambool Eagles have created history winning their first A Grade premiership with a huge upset win over Koroit.
The Saints were aiming for their fourth straight flag and went into the game unbeaten while the Eagles had to come all the way from fifth place.
In a thrilling encounter the Eagles led by a goal at quarter time before scores were leveled at half time.
The Eagles got in front by a goal at the final change and then flew home to win by five in front of their adoring fans.
The Blackburn sisters, Laura and Annie, were brilliant in attack while Jordyn Billings produced a best on court performance in defence.
In the A1 grand final Koroit won their first ever premiership in that grade when they defeated Cobden 25-19 with Megan Gleeson best on court.
And in the A2 Port Fairy won their first netball flag since 2006 when they defeated Koroit 36-29 with Seagulls wing attack Elise Woods best on court.
In the Under 17's South Warrnambool were premiers and champions with a 36-30 win over Terang Mortlake.
And the Eagles made it a big day with their Under 15's defeating Terang Mortlake 33-23 while the Eagles were also premiers in the Under 13's with a thrilling 22-21 win over Camperdown.
