POLICE were yesterday granted three hours to interview a Warrnambool man already in custody about other offending.
Glenn John Moore, 40, of Silesia Court, appeared in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday and after a lengthy hearing he was denied bail and remanded in custody until October 1.
Mr Moore has been charged with 10 offences including recklessly cause injury and making threats to kill.
Police opposed him being released on bail after officers alleged that during the past six months Mr Moore’s irrational and abusive behaviour towards family members had escalated.
Yesterday Constable Rebecca Russo said that a search of the premises where Mr Moore had been living was carried out by police with his consent.
She told the court drugs and drug paraphernalia were found and police sought to interview Mr Moore about those items and in relation to a burglary committed in Warrnambool.
Mr Moore did not oppose the application for him to be interviewed.
