POLICE have again warned those who risk drink driving they will be caught after a Koroit man was intercepted last night more than four times over the legal limit.
Koroit police Senior Constable Craig Tobias said he initially pulled over the 29-year-old Koroit man for speeding after the driver was clocked on radar at 104km/h in a 70 zone at Dennington.
"He was heading out of Warrnambool when he was detected speeding at 10.40pm last night," he said.
"The driver recorded a positive preliminary breath test, was taken back to Warrnambool for an evidentiary test and recorded a reading of .205. He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and speeding offences."
Senior Constable Tobias said the driver had been at four Warrnambool licensed premises before being pulled over.
"He knew he was over and decided to drive. It's timely to remind motorists if they run the gauntlet - that is drinking and driving - they will be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law," he said.
