AN exhibition looking at the links between waterways and art will be held tonight.
The exhibition comes after Glenelg Hopkins CMA has presented seminars which have focused on the estuaries, or where the rivers meet the seas.
Warrnambool Art Gallery’s curator Gareth Colliton will display local art from the recent Kuyang exhibition where works were inspired by a walk along the Hopkins River from Lake Bolac to Warrnambool as part of the Lake Bolac Eel Festival.
Artists involved include Rachel Peters, Trevor Finn, Graeme McDonald, Sandra Aitkens, Paul Mason and Nathan Wilkinson.
The night seminars are an activity from the statewide EstuaryWatch program where community volunteers monitor water condition and make observations monthly to raise awareness and also provide data to land managers.
The event will be from 6.30pm till 8.30pm at The Pavilion. People looking to attend can RSVP on 5571 2526.
