THREATS by Alan "Swampy" Marsh to leave dead chickens on the doorstep of Moyne Shire offices proved to be just that.
Mr Marsh arrived at the Port Fairy offices at noon and was met by council CEO David Madden at the front door.
Mr Marsh said he had been informed by police if he followed through on his threat to egg the building and leave dead chickens at the front door he would be arrested.
He said he would bring the chickens and eggs back another day when the council had had no notice.
