TROTTERS Coaches is the 2013 Southern Grampians business of the year.
The family business has been providing bus services in the Hamilton region since 2002 and was hailed for its excellence in business performance, outstanding service to customers and being innovative and entrepreneurial.
The Tim Neeson Memorial Employee of the Year went to Alison Dunn from the Mulleraterong Centre that provides day programs for adults with an intellectual disability.
Ms Dunn joined Mulleraterong as a volunteer in 2010 and has progressed to become its quality co-ordinator .
James and June Nagorcka were inducted into the awards' hall of fame, recognising the outstanding contribution of their Waltanna farms and tractor businesses to the Southern Grampians business community over a long period of time.
Southern Grampians mayor Albert Calvano congratulated the winners, saying the standard of entries was again exceptionally high.
