WARRNAMBOOL'S Marc Leishman is safely through to the penultimate US PGA Tour playoff series event after a top-20 result in this morning's event in Massachusetts.
Leishman carded a final round one-under 70 to finish tied for 16th at 13-under in Deutsche Bank Championship in Norton.
It was enough to lift him from 76th at the start of the event in the playoff series standings inside the top 70 to qualify for the BMW Championship in a fortnight.
Leishman now sits at 58th.
Swede Henrik Stenson won the event to take the lead in the playoff series after carding a five-under 66 this morning to win by two shots. He finished at 22-under par.
